Who Is Level Up Improvement?
Level Up Improvement is a full-service exterior remodeling company specializing in roofing, siding, and window installation throughout Southeast Michigan. We take a different approach than most contractors by looking at the home as a whole. Instead of focusing on just one area, we work to understand how everything ties together so we can recommend solutions that actually make sense for the house and the homeowner.
Our goal is simple. We want every homeowner to maintain a happy and healthy dwelling they are proud to call home. We also believe homeowners deserve better than what this industry often delivers and want to save as many homeowners as possible from bad contractors.
There are a lot of options out there when it comes to contractors, and not all of them have your best interests in mind. Some push the cheapest fixes that fail in a few years, but allows them to make a quick buck. Others rely on high-pressure sales tactics, overcharge, or try to scare homeowners into work that does not truly benefit the home. We have seen it time and time again.
Level Up Improvement was founded by Brandon Parsons, a carpenter and builder with a deep understanding of how homes are built and how they fail over time. Along with the rest of the team, he has spent years in the field seeing what works, what does not, and what ends up costing homeowners more in the long run.
That experience shapes everything we do. We focus on honest recommendations, quality materials, and proper installation methods that are built to last.
We believe homeowners should feel confident in the decisions they make about their home. That means no pressure, no gimmicks, and no shortcuts. Just straightforward guidance and solid workmanship.

2006
Brandon gets his journeyman carpenters card
Brandon became a journeyman carpenter decades ago, driven by a passion for building and a naturally technical mindset. He took pride in his craft, earning a reputation for his incredible attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way. After years of physically demanding work, the toll on his body began to catch up with him. That reality led him to transition into a more office-focused role, where he could continue applying his knowledge and experience in a new way.
2014 - 2020
Brandon, Sam, and Brad work together at large company
Before starting Level Up Improvement, Brandon, Sam, and Brad all worked together at a large remodeling company. During that time, they saw firsthand how many companies in this industry operate. High-pressure sales tactics, inflated pricing, and pushing homeowners into decisions that did not always make sense for the home were common with home improvements.
2020 - 2022
Brandon and an installer start a competitor
Brandon started the business with an experienced installer, focused on doing solid work and treating homeowners fairly. Later, Sam joined as Director of Sales, bringing a straightforward approach that matched the company’s focus on honesty and practical solutions.
From the beginning, the team has kept things simple: identify the real problem, recommend what actually makes sense, and get the work done right.
2022 - 2024
Brandon splits to start Level Up Improvement
Brandon eventually decided to start Level Up Improvement to focus on a more complete, homeowner-first approach. Sam stayed behind at their previous company for a time because he believed in the quality of the installers and wanted to continue supporting the work they were doing.
This experience gave both of them a clear perspective on what matters most in the industry: honest recommendations, skilled workmanship, and solutions that truly benefit the home.
2024 - 2025
Sam joins Level Up Improvement, has a health scare - Alvin hired
After not liking the director his company was headed, Sam decided to leave and joined Level Up Improvement as an owner, bringing his experience and perspective to help the company grow. Shortly after joining, he experienced a major health scare when a ruptured AVM on his cerebellum required immediate attention.
To help manage growth and support the team during this time, Alvin was brought on. With his skills and decades of experience, the company was able to continue serving homeowners while maintaining a focus on honest recommendations and quality work.
2025
Brad joins Level Up Improvement
Brad joined the team, after having worked with him before. Both Sam and Brandon knew exactly what kind of person he is and were excited to have him on board. His skills and approach fit perfectly with the team’s focus on honest work and solutions that truly benefit homeowners.
2026+
Consistent Growth - Move to Royal Oak, MI
Level Up Improvement continues to grow at a steady, manageable pace, staying focused on doing things the right way for both our team and our customers. With that growth, we moved into a new location in Royal Oak, Michigan, positioning ourselves for the next chapter and the opportunity to serve even more homeowners in the years ahead.
